As a follow-up to Flod's visual identity, I worked on designing the digital studio's new website. I'd just joined the newly formed studio myself, which made it a special project — we set out to craft an entire catalogue of graphics in line with the team's aspirations and tone of voice.
The initial idea came after watching an episode of the brilliant How to with John Wilson, a 20-minute scaffolding love letter, which made me realise the beauty of those urban structures.
The website reflects the grid-like aesthetics of scaffolding structures. Those are flexible and ever-changing, allowing different elements to always fall into place.
We designed scroll-triggered animations to give the user effective control over the page and its elements. Each illustration conveys a different area of the studio's expertise, always displayed under the same grid.
